The Department of Ophthalmology is providing outstanding care for our patients, conducting leading-edge, collaborative research, and educating the next generation of ophthalmologists and vision science researchers. The department is well equipped with state-of-the-art Ophthalmic unit, an auto refractometer, direct and indirect Ophthalmoscope, streak retinoscope, equipped refraction rooms (trial sets, motorized remote controlled, snellen’s drums, Keratometer and latest PHACO machine) is available to perform sutureless cataract surgeries. To give vision to the needy, the department has started charitable Eye Campsto perform free eye surgeries.The department of ophthalmology is dedicated to provide state of the art medical and surgical care in all aspects of adult and pediatric ophthalmology. It provides patient oriented management of ophthalmic problems by integrating and leveraging its combined expertise. It also performs advanced surgical procedures which include most current surgical and reconstructive techniques. The department has a team of highly experienced surgeons which are supported by most advanced medical equipment and techniques.
