Overview
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a 2-year diploma programme also known as Laboratory Medical Science. The programme focuses on imparting a sound knowledge of disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through the use of clinical laboratory equipment. This programme covers all aspects of clinical lab analysis including analysis of body matter, Haematology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Serology and Blood Banking etc. as well as its application in the healthcare delivery system. DMLT syllabus and course curriculum contains classroom training, seminars, scholarly activities, inter-disciplinary project based learning, internships and fundamental practical lab training so that students can apply theoretical and practical knowledge & technical skills associated with medical lab technology in the practical world.
Eligibility
- As per the norms of Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow
- PCB (10+2) students can apply
- Must have minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects taken together
